Greetings from the Motherland of Africa & the Mid-Atlantic US!

“Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: ‘Who am I, LORD God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?'” (1 Chronicles 17:16)
Dear Kip, Elena, and FOMM Family,
Greetings from the Motherland!  THANK YOU for all the love and encouragement for my birthday on Sunday.  It is truly a privilege to be part of God’s kingdom on earth!  In Johannesburg, the LORD blessed us with the powerful baptism of a single professional woman as our Bible Talks are inspired to be fruitful with a man and woman every month!  In Lagos, the church was encouraged to see another precious baptism of a campus student after their First Principles Class last Wednesday!  Our new church in Kampala, Uganda just finished their Equipping Classes for First Principles and the disciples there are now ready to make an impact for the LORD.  Our brother Blaise also reports that 12 more precious souls were added to the French Africa churches this week!  Please pray for God to continue using us to spread the “aroma of the knowledge of him” throughout the Motherland! (2 Corinthians 2:14)
JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
It was a joy to celebrate my 43rd birthday in the beauty of God’s cathedral as we had a great park service on Sunday!  My beautiful wife and church family make it very special!
Dipolelo (second from right), a single professional who was very religious and active in her former church, proclaimed Jesus as LORD as a true disciple!  She shared with tears about how grateful she was to come to a knowledge of the truth in a world of hypocrisy!
Our University of Witwatersrand Campus Ministry (a.k.a. “Transformed!”) is on fire for the LORD as we had 21 visitors at our last Bible Talk on Thursday!  I’m praying for more visitors this week as I am bringing my whiteboard to display the topic for discussion – “What is Appropriate?”  We are going to “go there” about dress, speech, and the like!
It is a joy to lead the campus ministry with my dear son in the faith, Joshua Ajayi!  He celebrated his 30th birthday on September 30th last week!  He and his wife Shyloe have been a great support to Patrique and I as we eagerly await the return of Tolani & Kate Abiodun from Nigeria.  They have been patiently waiting for the South African visa for their daughter Kayla since our African Missions Conference in late June of this year.  Please pray for them to receive it this month!
LAGOS, NIGERIA
The Lagos Church celebrated the baptism of Blessing Emefile (center) a campus student studying Computer Science at the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos!  Blessing is also a professional football player!
The Lagos Singles Ministry also enjoyed their recent Singles Retreat entitled, “LEVEL UP: Living Life to the Full!”  They are excited to “level up” in their convictions for God and are ready to be an example to the church and the world!
Please pray for the Lagos EVL, Bolaji Akinfenwa, as he is heading out soon to Freetown, Sierra Leone on Wednesday to gather the remnant for this West African planting slated for 2025 – or sooner!
KAMPALA, UGANDA
The saints in Kampala celebrated their successful completion of the First Principles Equipping Course with a great dinner!  Please pray for God to use this team powerfully to make an eternal impact throughout East Africa.  Their spiritual mantra is: FAITH + FUN = FRUIT!
Please pray for God is move hearts as there are several friends studying the Bible in Uganda!  They are striving to have four additions this month!
Operation Motherland is in full effect as we dream to do “even greater things” in building God’s churches throughout the continent of Africa and beyond!  Thank you for all your love, financial sacrifice and support as we call the nations to a knowledge of the truth.  We love you!

Much love,

Andrew & Patrique
