Dear Family,

Thank you so much for all your prayers and love for Patrique!  After her first procedure to address a vein occlusion (a blood vessel that was blocked and leaking blood) in her eye, God has already blessed her to be able to see more clearly! 🏾.  This is the start of process of healing, so please pray as Patrique bravely continues these eye injections and also has a laser procedure next Monday to address the pressure that has built up in her eye to prevent any onset of glaucoma!

Thank God for the medical technology to address these issues!! 🏾

Please also pray for us in Joburg as over 300 campus students recently started a hunger strike and marched in the streets to protest the lack of financial aid and accommodation as a result of the COVID pandemic.  According to reports about 40% of students have been blocked from registering because of outstanding funds.   Schools are still not open physically, but we are studying with students virtually and catching them creatively at the malls! 🏾🏾

Please pray for the educational infrastructure in South Africa to allow students to reenroll in school  once again! 🏾

Please also pray for Elago – a civic engineering student from Namibia who just got accepted to the University of Pretoria – to be baptized very soon! 🇳🇦🏾.  We now have predictions by next Sunday for students from Uganda and Namibia, as well as restorations from Malawi and Zambia by Easter!  🇺🇬 🇳🇦 🇲🇼 🇿🇲.  God is moving throughout the Motherland!!

In Lagos, the LORD blessed the church with the baptism of Chanels Nene Oro, a Masters student at the University of Lagos majoring in Budgeting and Public Finance Management!  She was first referred to the Lagos sisters by a London disciple named Eugenie who met her on a Christian group online.  Chanels’ zealous sharing has now inspired her brother and mother in Abuja to also start study the Bible!  Thank you for all your love and support! 🏾️

Dear Family,

Greetings from Johannesburg!  This week has been a labor of love as we fight to “remove the stones” from the hearts of the those studying the Bible so we can baptize disciples only!  Unfortunately, no studies were ready to be added, but the “highway” being laid to prepare the way for more souls to be saved and restored in South Africa, Uganda, Malawi and Zambia! 🏾

God is also purifying the church in Lagos as a serious issue is being investigated, but the LORD is blessing our efforts to renovate our signature MERCYww project in Okobaba, Nigeria at The Real School!  Although a fire threatened to destroy the wooden structure of the school last year, the gracious efforts of the Bordieris and the Wong Foundation have enabled the school to relocate to a “brick & mortar” facility! 🏾.  I am very grateful for the teamwork in our renovation efforts that will “raise a banner” of hope and mercy for the 100 students of The Real School very soon!

Please also pray for Patrique this week as she is having an eye procedure to relieve some pressure in her right eye and prevent any possible issues of glaucoma.  She is faithful that God will heal her so she can continue to be used powerfully for the LORD! 🏾️.  We love you!

Dear Family,

Greetings from the Motherland! .  In West Africa the LORD continues to gather his remnant as Wale & Yinka Balogun, former ministry leaders in the Lagos ICOC, placed membership with the Lagos Church!  Wale and Yinka have been disciples for 30 and 28 years respectively, and were first called into the full-time ministry in 2006 by Bolaji & Chinyere Akinfenwa, the present Lagos Church leaders.  Since that time they have led four other churches in Nigeria and were appointed EVL & WML in 2016.  They resigned and left the ministry in 2020 due to the “systemic decay and abandonment of the core convictions” that inspired them to become disciples three decades ago! 🏾.  They are so grateful for the sincere love and fellowship of the Lagos disciples as well as the dream to evangelize the nations that has been long missing in the ICOC!

The LORD is also blessing the work in Southern Africa as Patrick Chona, a former disciple of the Lusaka, Zambia ICOC, is eager to be restored!  Patrick was baptized in 1998 and was previously the HOPEworldwide Director for all of Zambia!  Remarkably, Patrick’s late father, Mainza Mathias Chona, served as the Acting President, Vice President and two-time Prime Minister of Zambia!! 🏾🇿🇲.  Please pray as many remnant are gathering in Lusaka for revival!

Patrick is also a renowned singer in Lusaka!

Finally, we are excited to announce the theme for our 2021 Virtual African Missions Conference entitled, “RISE UP!” as we prepare to send out two more mission teams to Cameroon and the Republic of Congo this year for the LORD!  🇨🇲🏾🇨🇬

Greetings from Johannesburg as we celebrated the baptism of Sifiso Dhladhla on Friday!  Sifiso is a Masters graduate from the City University of London majoring in Innovation, Creativity and Leadership! .  A ministry intern in the London Church, Abhishek Prakash, first met Sifiso in Wembley Stadium in October of last year.  Although they started studying the Bible, Sifiso stopped when he had to return to South Africa at the completion of his studies.  Abhishek connected him with our Joburg ministry intern, Osas Atohengbe, and after a month or two of delay and doctrinal “bumps”, Sifiso became our brother!  Please pray for this young “Apollos” as he is currently running his father’s business here in Johannesburg and already has a eager heart for the ministry – two of his friends currently studying the Bible!

Please also pray for the “remnant that still survives” on the Motherland!  We are currently studying with two ex-ICOC brothers in Zambia and Kenya are who eager to join the new movement!  God is also moving in Lagos, as Wale Balogun, an ex-ICOC Lagos Evangelist, who has been attending services, has written a letter explaining his gratitude to join the new movement this upcoming Sunday!  It is my prayer that my brief study entitled, “Standing at the Crossroads” (attached) will continue to inspire more remnant in Africa to find hope in God’s new movement!

Greetings from Joburg as we celebrated the baptism of Banele Ndhlovu, a Forex trader and rapper who met our brother Tshepo on a video game chat site!  God is definitely opening the doors for evangelism through many social platforms! 🏾‍

Please also pray for the Lagos Church as the remnant continues to draw closer to God’s new movement!  A former Lagos ICOC Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader, Wale and Yinka Balogun, attended our worship service in Lagos this week with their son Kehinde!  Bolaji and Chinyere Akinfenwa, the Lagos ICC leaders, used to disciple them years ago, and Wale recently left his position in the ICOC due to its lukewarmness.  Wale has been working to inspire his wife to accept the 5 Core Convictions and join the movement, and she finally came to the service after fasting and reviewing the scriptures with Chinyere!  Please pray for them to officially place membership soon! 🏾🏾

Greetings from the Motherland!  Love for God and each other is definitely in the air as we now have two new dating couples as well as an incredible baptism in Lagos this week! ️

In Joburg, we witnessed our Ministry Intern, Nick Winn, surprise Sabrina Gardner as he asked her to be his girlfriend at the close of the West Region LA Zoom Service on Valentine’s Day!   Needless to say, she said “Yes!”  Please pray for the logistics of Sabrina’s move as we are currently working on getting her a Temporary Residence Permit so she can stay in South Africa long-term! 🏾

The Joburg Marrieds Ministry was all in white as we exchanged our vows to each other at our Valentine’s Day Devotional! ️

In Lagos, our great-grandson and great-granddaughter in the faith, Benedict Ikhalea and Chinelo Okolie started dating! 🇳🇬

God also continues to gather his remnant as Faith Amadi, the sister-in-law of our Lagos sister Jacinta Adamu, was baptized in Owerri, Nigeria (Imo State)!  By the grace of God, Faith’s husband, Alex, a former ICOC disciple who previously worked for HOPEworldwide, was restored to the LORD just two weeks ago! 🏾
